OUTCOME:	The program provides assistance to business and individuals in
	rural areas of the Alabama Black Belk

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

This program offers one-on-one assistance to new or current rural entrepreneurs interested in starting or expanding their businesses. Technical assistance is provided in the areas of business development, implementation and monitoring, financial management, and loan application. 

Training is provided for cash flow analysis, business planning, loan packaging, marketing, bookkeeping, product development, customer relations, and business skills relating to answering services, referral networks, courier services, consulting, arts and crafts, catering, child care, volunteers coordination, home-based businesses, etc. Strategic planning and forecasting for new business development opportunities, and franchise opportunities are also analyzed.

OUTCOME:	The office provides business incubator services in rural areas of
	the Alabama Black Belt

The One-Stop Capital Service Shop is designed to provide business incubator services to businesses and individuals in Macon and Lowndes/Butler Champion Communities, and Sumter/Greene Enterprise Communities, and the other residents of the Alabama Black Belt. Business incubator services provided are faxing, copying, use of a business reference library, Internet access, etc. 

Hours of operation are 9:00 - 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. The office is located at 112 Campbell Hall, Room 210, Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, AL 36088. For any questions or requested assistance come to the program location or call 334-724-4526, 800-713-1096, fax# 334-724-4254.
