Tuskegee University has been dedicated historically to the uplifting of Rural Alabama. We do this through all of our programs, academic, research, and public service. As we join forces with USDA and the 1890 Universities, we expect to bring the solutions of Business to the community development problems of Rural Alabama.
It is expected that chief among the outcomes of the Rural Business Program
and BISNet will be the elevation and improvement of the quality of life
for Rural Alabamians.
